Ubiquiti airMAX RocketDish LW RD-5G30-LW

Ubiquiti airMAX RocketDish LW RD-5G30-LW

The Ubiquiti airMAX RocketDish LW RD-5G30-LW is a 5 GHz, 30 dBi parabolic dish antenna designed for long-range, outdoor point-to-point links. It is ideal for ISPs, enterprises, campuses, and industrial sites that need stable wireless backhaul between buildings or towers. Moreover, it offers high gain, low wind load, and reliable outdoor performance, supplied and supported in Kenya by Dataworld Systems.

Product Overview

This 5 GHz RocketDish LW antenna focuses radio energy into a tight beam, so it is perfect for bridging networks over long distances where running cable or fiber is not practical. In addition, its dual-linear polarization supports 2×2 MIMO links with compatible radios, which helps you achieve higher throughput on licensed-exempt spectrum.

The lightweight “LW” construction reduces overall weight while keeping the dish strong and stable. Therefore, it places less stress on towers and masts. The included universal pole mount, Rocket bracket, and weatherproof RF connectors further simplify professional rooftop and tower installations across Kenya.

Key Features

• 30 dBi high-gain dish – Concentrates RF energy into a narrow beam, improving signal levels and link quality over long distances.

• 5 GHz operating band – Works in the 5.1–5.9 GHz range, giving flexibility for channel planning in busy wireless environments.

• Directional parabolic design – Tight 5.8° beamwidth helps reduce interference from nearby radios and improves noise immunity.

• Dual-linear polarization – Enables 2×2 MIMO operation with compatible Rocket radios, supporting higher data rates and efficiency.

• Strong isolation – 35 dB cross-polar isolation and 30 dB front-to-back ratio help keep co-located links clean and separate.

• Lightweight build – At only 7.4 kg, it is easier to handle during installation and reduces wind loading on poles and towers.

• Wind-resistant housing – Designed to withstand winds up to 200 km/h, so it remains dependable in harsh outdoor conditions.

• Installer-friendly mounting – Supplied with universal pole mount, Rocket bracket, and weatherproof RF connectors for neat, secure setups.

• Standards-compliant – Meets ETSI EN 302 326 DN2 and is NDAA compliant, making it suitable for many professional deployments.
