GIGANET GN-C6A-FTP-KJP KEYSTONE

The GIGANET GN-C6A-FTP-KJP Keystone is a network accessory designed for use in structured cabling systems to terminate and connect Ethernet cables. This keystone module is specifically designed to meet Category 6A (CAT6A) performance standards and is typically used for high-speed data networking applications. Here’s a description of the GIGANET GN-C6A-FTP-KJP Keystone:

1. CAT6A Compatibility: The GN-C6A-FTP-KJP Keystone is designed to support Category 6A (CAT6A) Ethernet connections. CAT6A is an enhanced version of CAT6 cabling and is capable of supporting higher bandwidths and faster data transmission speeds, making it ideal for Gigabit Ethernet, 10 Gigabit Ethernet, and other high-speed networking applications.
2. FTP Design: The “FTP” designation stands for “Foiled Twisted Pair.” This means that the keystone module features a foil shield around the twisted pairs of copper conductors. FTP design provides additional protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk, enhancing signal quality and reliability.
3. Keystone Jack: The keystone module typically has a female RJ45 connector on one side, allowing you to insert an Ethernet cable with an RJ45 plug. This modular design is compatible with various keystone wall plates, patch panels, and faceplates, offering flexibility in configuring your network connections.
4. Easy Snap-In Installation: The keystone module is designed for easy snap-in installation into keystone-compatible outlets, panels, or wall plates. This installation method allows for quick and toolless connection of Ethernet cables.
5. T568A/T568B Wiring: The GN-C6A-FTP-KJP Keystone typically supports both T568A and T568B wiring schemes, providing flexibility in cable termination to accommodate different network standards or preferences.
6. CAT6A Performance: The keystone module is engineered to meet CAT6A performance specifications, ensuring that it can support the high data transmission speeds and bandwidth requirements associated with modern networking applications.
7. Compatibility: It is compatible with CAT6A Ethernet cables and can be used in various networking environments, including data centers, server rooms, telecommunications rooms, and commercial or industrial networking setups.
8. Color-Coded: Keystone modules are often color-coded for easy identification and organization within a network setup. This helps simplify cable management and maintenance.
9. Durable Construction: The keystone module is typically constructed from high-quality materials to ensure long-term durability and reliable performance in networking environments.
10. Application: The GN-C6A-FTP-KJP Keystone is used in structured cabling systems to provide a termination point for Ethernet cables, allowing them to be connected to networking equipment, wall outlets, or patch panels.

When selecting a keystone module like the GIGANET GN-C6A-FTP-KJP, ensure that it matches your specific networking requirements and is compatible with your networking equipment. Proper termination and cable management are essential for maintaining a reliable and efficient network infrastructure.
