APKR CAT 6 Modules

APKR CAT 6 Modules provide connection points for CAT 6 network cables. They help installers create neat and secure links within a structured cabling system. Therefore, they suit both new network projects and upgrades.

The modules can connect computers, phones, printers, and other network devices. Moreover, their modular format allows installers to arrange ports according to each project.

CAT 6 Cable Compatibility

The modules support compatible CAT 6 cables. As a result, they help maintain the cable system’s network performance.

CAT 6 cabling supports Gigabit Ethernet. In addition, it may support speeds up to 10Gbps over short cable runs. However, cable length and installation quality affect the final speed.

Modular Network Connections

APKR CAT 6 Modules offer a flexible way to add data points. Installers can fit the modules into matching network accessories, including:

• Faceplates
• Wall boxes
• Floor boxes
• Patch panels
• Network outlets
• Other compatible holders

Therefore, the same module type can support different network layouts.

Secure Cable Termination

The modules provide a fixed point for terminating CAT 6 cables. Depending on the model, they may use a punch-down block or keystone jack.

A secure termination helps maintain signal quality. Moreover, it reduces loose connections and network faults.

Neat Network Organisation

The modular design keeps network points arranged in one location. Consequently, technicians can identify each connection more easily.

Colour-coded markings may also guide cable termination. In addition, they can help technicians follow the correct wiring sequence.

Signal Performance

The modules support the performance needs of CAT 6 cabling. Therefore, correct installation helps reduce signal loss and crosstalk.

Some module versions may include shielding. This feature helps reduce electrical noise in areas with high interference. However, buyers should confirm whether the selected module has shielding.
